Dr. B. Guy Peters is currently the Maurice Falk Professor of American Government at the University of Pittsburgh and Distinguished Professor of Comparative Governance at Zeppelin University (Germany). Dr. Peters has also served as a research professor at the University Center for International Studies (UCIS), a senior fellow at the Canadian Centre for Management Development, and honorary professor at City University of Hong Kong. He currently teaches courses on public policy and American and comparative politics. His research focuses on public policy and administration and American administration policy. He is author of several books, including Comparative Politics: Theory and Method (Basingstoke: Palgrave), and several articles comparing policy coordination and institutional theory. He has served as a consultant to the United Nations Development Program, the World Bank, the OECD, the European Commission, UNICEF, the Prime Minister’s Office (Finland), the President’s Office (Uruguay) Privy Council Office (Canada), the Ministry of Public Affairs (Trinidad and Tobago), the Ministry of Public Administration (Japan), the Ministry of Public Administration (Taiwan), and the Civil Service Training College (Hong Kong).
